Enforcement of rights to access data and information
Liechtenstein recognises various forms of asset allocation, including institutions, foundations, public limited companies and trusts, the legal structure of which presents specific challenges for procedural law. In the event of a dispute, several parties are often involved, such as founders, beneficiaries, members of governing bodies, shareholders and trustees. In practice, this regularly gives rise to complex questions regarding the type of proceedings, joinder of parties and forms of legal redress.
The handbook «Verbandsstreitigkeiten in Liechtenstein» provides a comprehensive, systematic overview of Liechtenstein procedural law in relation to these legal forms. In Chapter 10, Manuel Walser deals specifically with the enforcement of claims for disclosure and information.
